I shoot with a fresh eye and I always have fun while I shoot.

I am a photographer with a flare for photographing people in unique and creative environments.

I have a background in photojournalism, stemming from work in the photo departments of The World of Chinese Magazine, the Star Tribune and the Minnesota Daily.

I am a graduate of the School of Environmental Studies in Apple Valley, MN, and a soon-to-be alumna of the University of Minnesota.

I have lived abroad in Athens, Greece and Beijing, China.

I love book stores and Thai food.

Packages

Ali Haupt Senior Portraits offers three main session packages:

Short and Sweet: Want creative senior portraits for less? This packages is a 40 minute portrait session in one outfit at a location of your choosing. Come prepared with your hair and make-up finished. You will receive a CD of approximately 30 high-resolution retouched images. $199

Lovely Light: This portrait session is a perfect mix of outfits and locations. The package includes a 90 minute walk and shoot session with up to three outfits at a location of your choosing. There will be time before the session starts to change into your first outfit and touch up your hair and make-up. You will receive a CD of approximately 100 high-resolution retouched images. $325

Perfect Portrait: This Perfect Portrait session is the best of the best. Want your portraits to include the forest and the city? The summer and the first snow fall? This package includes three hours of shooting time which can be divided into two different locations and days. There is an unlimited amount of outfits and plenty of time after each change to touch up your hair and make-up. You will receive a CD of approximately 250 high-resolution retouched images. $599

Each package includes shooting locations anywhere in the Twin Cities metro area. Locations outside of the Twin Cities will an additional transportation fee.

Your image CD will be hand delivered approximately two weeks after the date of your portrait session.

Ali Haupt Photography gives you full right to print and reproduce your images. If you would like professional printing, you have the option to order your prints from Ali Haupt Photography via White House Custom Color at 1.2 times the printing rates available here.

I will be biking from Copenhagen to Prague in April and May of 2011, so please allow several days for a return message. I am thrilled to be on this bicycle trip, and I am very excited to return to Minnesota at the beginning of June.

F.A.Q.s

Q: Can I bring my mom/my sister/my best friend along with me?

Yes! Having a friend or family member with you will make your portrait session great. Aside from making sure that you look perfect, they will also help you with your outfits and gear. Feel free to bring several relatives or friends.

Q: What are your favorite shooting locations?

I love shooting at old farms and along lake sides. Specifically, Lebanon Hills Park in Eagan, and down town St. Paul are two of my favorite locations to shoot portraits. I also love shooting at Lake Calhoun, Como Park, and Dinkytown.

Q: What happens in event of weather?

If it looks like it will rain on the day of your portrait session, we will reschedule for a later (and hopefully sunnier) date. We are very accommodating in setting up a new session time.

Q: How will booking work?

Once I receive your booking e-mail, I will send you a senior portrait contract. You can scan it in and e-mail it back, or send it in via snail mail. Your session will be confirmed once we have received your contract and fifty percent of your session cost. The payment can be received through Paypal or in an envelope. During the booking, let us know about your interests and ideas for your senior portraits.

I guarantee satisfaction with your final result. If you are unhappy with your original images, I will be happy to arrange a re-shoot at a time of your convenience. I love photographing portraits, and I want to make sure you love your portraits too.
